I am not a professional. I don’t have a lot of degrees on the wall with my name on them. I only have a BA in Abuse (a mix of Psychology and Sociology) I have made the journey myself so I understand how hard it is. I have only spent a lifetime studying abuse and how to recover from it. I can give you bits of information I’ve learned. I hope they help.
One of the worst things about abuse is the feeling of being alone and no one understanding. Not true. There are millions out there in the same place you are. They are just as alone. The hard part is figuring out how to connect and be safe doing it.
